Job Summary
Location: Fullerton California
Duration: 13 Weeks (Potential for Extension)
Schedule: Evening Shift 4x10 Hours (3:30 PM 2:00 AM)
Compensation: $2200 $2850 Weekly (Based on Experience)
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience operating Siemens or Philips CT scanners and be committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and exceptional care.
- Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Operate Siemens or Philips CT equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Administer contrast media when required following established venipuncture and safety protocols.
- Ensure patient comfort safety and proper positioning throughout imaging procedures.
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and imaging department policies.
- Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information within the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with radiologists physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to support timely and accurate patient diagnoses.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any operational concerns.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT (R) certification required.
- CT certification preferred in accordance with facility standards.
- Active state licensure as required by California regulations.
- Current BLS certification preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years of CT Technologist experience required.
- Experience operating Siemens or Philips CT scanners is required.
- Hospital-based imaging experience preferred.
- First-time travelers accepted with at least three (3) years of recent hospital experience.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy.
- Proficiency in contrast administration and patient assessment.
- Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
