Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Design develop and support industrial automation and control systems using Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC platforms
- Program and troubleshoot Siemens S7 PLCs TIA Portal ControlLogix CompactLogix Studio 5000 and RSLogix 5000
- Configure and maintain Kepware (KEPServerEX) for machine connectivity and enterprise data integration
- Develop and support HMI/SCADA applications using WinCC FactoryTalk and Ignition
- Integrate shop floor equipment with MES ERP SCADA and cloud systems
- Work with industrial communication protocols including OPC UA Modbus Profinet Ethernet/IP and MQTT
- Troubleshoot production equipment and controls-related issues to minimize downtime
- Support machine connectivity projects involving CNCs CMMs test rigs and aerospace manufacturing equipment
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Quality and IT teams for automation and reporting solutions
- Create dashboards alerts reports and data acquisition systems
- Maintain system architecture documentation tag structures and change management records
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 NIST 800-171 and ISA/IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing operations
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs (S7-1200/1500 TIA Portal WinCC)
- Strong experience with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation platforms
- Experience with Studio 5000 RSLogix 5000 ControlLogix CompactLogix
- Experience configuring Kepware / KEPServerEX
- Experience with OPC UA Modbus Profinet Ethernet/IP MQTT
- PLC programming experience using ladder logic structured text and function block
- Experience integrating MES ERP SCADA or cloud platforms
- Ability to read electrical schematics wiring diagrams and P&IDs
- Familiarity with CNC and inspection equipment in aerospace manufacturing
- Strong troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Ignition Certified Developer experience
- Experience with Gold Tier integrator projects
- Familiarity with MQTT Sparkplug B and IIoT architectures
- Experience with AS9102 FAI SPC or quality systems
- Aerospace or high-precision manufacturing background

- Omron PLC experience
- Sysmac Studio / NJ/NX Series exposure
- Heidenhain controls and TNC programming experience

- BE / BTech / ME / MTech in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering or Controls Engineering
