Flywheel is seeking a digital commerce expert to join our team as aCommerce Strategy Director. OurCommerce Strategy teamfunctions as the strategic arm of Flywheels commercialteamoffering apractitionerslens to our new business sales approach.Success in this role isdirectly tied toFlywheelsrevenue growth but a truly successful candidate will do wellthroughinsight-based additions to pitches a competitive streak externally but highly collaborative internally and a deep curiosity to discover create and teach new solutions and capabilities that help Flywheel win.
What youll do:
As Commerce Strategy Director you will lead strategiccomponents of Flywheels commercial and new business of those core responsibilities include:
Partnering closely withFlywheelsBusiness Development Directors to coordinatepitch strategyand bring bespoke and tailored opportunities tothe organizations highest-value opportunities.
Building and delivering best in class pitch narratives
Working across Omnicom agencies toidentifyopportunities for collaboration
Creating process tomore quickly go to marketwith insightsleveragingor building new tools or connecting between existing capabilities to create something new
Building organizational capabilityanddeveloptraining and knowledge transfer programs that enable the broader sales organization to execute strategic work independently.
Who you are:
You bring5years of experience indigital and physical commerce with direct experience with building strategies that help brands achieve theirobjectives. Specific practitioner experiencerequiredwith Amazon search DSP AMC and retail knowledge withadditionaldepth of knowledge on Walmart and otherdigital commerce retailers.
You have a proventrack recordin fast-paced results-oriented environments.
Youpossessa strategic mindset with the ability to balance immediate client needs with long-term organizational capability building.
You have exceptional communication skills including the ability to craft compelling written narratives and deliver persuasive presentations.
You excel at project management and can juggle multiple workstreams with competing deadlines withobsession overqualityand results.
You are comfortable working across multiple time zones and regional structures and you bring a global perspective to organizational challenges.
Experience in omnichannel commerce media advertising or similar industries is strongly preferred.
