About the Claims Processor role

As a member of the team you will be responsible for performing tasks such as processing claims with specific detailed instructions to eligibility code rate coordination of benefits.

Job Details:

• Training is on the job for 2 weeks. Will need to be willing to cross train in all areas.
• Work schedule is 7:00 until 3:30pm M-F with occasional overtime on Saturdays.
• Sort prepare and scan up to 2000 insurance claims and related documents daily.
• Enter claim data into client systems throughout the workday.

• Perform repetitive document handling tasks in a fast-paced environment. (removing staples rubber bands repairing torn documents copying document types and inserting patch sheets to separate claims).

• Follow mailroom security procedures and all company procedures.

• Maintain a safe clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• Must be able to complete a typing test/Please do not take typing test via phone.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must pass a required drug screening.
• Must have reliable transportation and flexible availability.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Basic data entry skills are a plus.

Pay is $16/hour which may be below your states minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying.

The estimated salary range for this role is $29640-$37050.
