Join a Growing Finance Team

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant II to join our finance team in Coppell Texas. This role is ideal for an accounting professional looking to build a strong foundation in financial reporting general accounting and financial analysis within a dynamic logistics and supply chain environment.

The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations prepare financial reports analyze financial data and contribute to maintaining accurate financial records while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements including balance sheets and profit & loss reports.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Analyze revenues expenses financial commitments and operating costs.
  • Prepare financial reports for management review.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Support tax preparation and financial reporting requirements.
  • Monitor financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial information and resolve accounting issues.
  • Assist with continuous process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency.
  • Perform additional accounting and finance duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
  • 02 years of accounting or finance experience.
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Knowledge of standard accounting concepts practices and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Internship or professional experience in accounting or finance.
  • Experience working with ERP or accounting software.
  • Experience supporting financial reporting and reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Experience in logistics transportation or supply chain industries is a plus.
