Key Responsibilities
Applications & Technical Support
Provide technical support to the sales team and customers including product recommendations performance evaluations and troubleshooting.
Assist in developing technical documentation data sheets and customer presentations.
Maintain accurate laboratory records and prepare technical reports summarizing test results.
Product Development and Scale-up
Collaborate with R&D scientist on formulation synthesis and performance testing of new adsorbent products.
Support the development scale-up and optimization of manufacturing processes for new products.
Facilitate transition of new products from laboratory development to commercial manufacturing.
Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale testing to evaluate product performance in various water treatment applications.
Quality & Regulatory Support
Perform product analytical characterization and troubleshooting.
Raw Material Qualification
Evaluate and qualify new raw materials in collaboration with procurement operations and R&D teams.
External Collaboration
Coordinate work with external contract laboratories for specialized testing or analysis.
Safety & Compliance
Follow established laboratory safety procedures and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Materials Science Environmental Science or related field.
Experience: 5 years of experience in a laboratory or technical role within water treatment environmental chemistry materials science or related industry. Experience in process scale up and product development is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of adsorption chemistry water treatment processes and/or metal removal technologies preferred.
Familiarity with quality systems regulatory testing and laboratory best practices.
Experience with various adsorbent materials (e.g. activated carbon ion exchange resins advanced filtration media) a plus.
Familiarity in process scale up pilot testing and validation.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated organized and detail oriented.
