About the Role

We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week contract in Monterey CA. This role is a great fit for a COTA with skilled nursing facility experience and knowledge of Rehab Optima / NetHealth.

Responsibilities

Assist with occupational therapy treatment plans under OT supervision
Support patients with daily living skills mobility and functional independence
Provide therapy services in a skilled nursing facility setting
Document patient progress and treatment details accurately
Collaborate with therapists nursing staff and care team members
Follow facility policies safety standards and rehab guidelines

Requirements

Active California COTA license required
Minimum 1 year of COTA experience required
Skilled Nursing Facility experience required
Rehab Optima / NetHealth experience preferred
Ability to work day shift
Strong patient care communication and documentation skills
