The Learning Experience of Astoria Astoria NY
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Education Director in a licensed early childhood program
- NYS Early Childhood Education Teaching Certification (per DOH requirements)
- Extensive knowledge of Article 47 regulations and NYC DOH compliance
- Strong understanding of enrollment management marketing and retention strategies
- Experience managing school financials budgeting and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to build mentor and retain a large team
- Exceptional parent communication and conflict resolution skills
You know how to inspire teachers build morale and create a collaborative positive school culture where staff feel supported and families feel confident.
You understand the importance of tours follow-ups retention strategies and community outreach. You are proactive in building and maintaining full enrollment.
You can confidently manage day-to-day operations licensing compliance staffing scheduling and administrative responsibilities without constant oversight.
You are comfortable overseeing budgets payroll considerations revenue tracking and cost management to ensure the school operates efficiently and profitably.
You build trust with families through transparent communication professionalism and responsiveness.

- Lead and develop teaching staff through coaching evaluations and professional development
- Manage enrollment pipeline tours and family onboarding
- Monitor financial performance and support revenue growth initiatives
- Ensure curriculum implementation aligns with brand standards
- Maintain a strong visible leadership presence in the school
