- Structural Heart Scrub Experience Required
- Skills Required - Work Settings: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab Interventional Cardiac Cath lab. Procedures: Cardiac Stent Placement Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult IABP Placement/Removal Interventional Catheterizations Left heart catheterization Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring Right heart catheterization. Medications: Antiarrhythmics Antihypertensives Emergency Medications IV vasopressors Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring Reversal agents Thrombolytics. IV therapy: Blood Product Administration IV infusion pumps Starting IVs. Professional Knowledge and Skills: 12 Lead EKG Activated Clotting Time (ACT) Cardioversion Circulate Procedures Infection Prevention Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias Isolation Precautions Malignant Hyperthermia Protocols Monitoring Procedural Sedation Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale Sheath Removal and Monitoring Cath Lab Procedure Experience Required: Balloon Angioplasty PCI Stents Thrombectomy Impella insertion Left & Right Heart Catheterization Rotablader

Vascular Studies/Procedures: angioplasty dialysis graft interventional Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography
IV Therapy: Assist with Central Line Insertion/management Implanted Ports - Care and Maintenance PICC Lines - Care and Maintenance - Professional Knowledge and Skills: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring External Compression Devices (C-Clamp Sandbags) Hypothermia protocols Laser Assisted Procedures Pressure Ulcer Assessment/Prevention Radiation and Laser Safety Topical Hemostasis (D-Stat Chito-Seal Syvek Patch) Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose StarClose) Ventilator Monitoring.

Schedule:
- Day 5x8-Hour (06:45 AM - 3:15 PM) Mon.-Fri.
- Occasional late days typically 4-5 days per month it is rare that staff will work in the lab after 5:00 PM on those days.
- Call Requirement: Call one day a week and every fifth weekend.
- Float Requirement: Will float as needed.
