We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and driven Business Development Associate to join the team at our corporate headquarters in Sturtevant Wisconsin we take pride in delivering quality projects building strong relationships and fostering a collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify pursue and secure new business opportunities in retail construction tenant improvement and remodel programs that fit Horizons core client criteria
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients developers brokers and industry stakeholders
• Responsible for identifying tenant improvement opportunities developing and maintaining long-term partnerships and representing Horizon Retail Construction with professionalism
• Lead sales efforts from initial prospecting through onboarding
• Collaborate with preconstruction and operations teams to verify client requirements
• Represent Horizon Retail Construction at industry events and networking functions with sales team
• Track and report sales activity pipeline development and prospects
• Monitor market trends competitor activity and emerging opportunities within tenant improvement and national rollouts to support Horizons growth initiatives
• Support long-term account management and repeat client engagement strategies

Summary of Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Sales Communication or equivalent
• Excellent verbal oral and written communication skills
• Great listening and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A highly motivated self-starter
• Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
