We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and driven Business Development Associate to join the team at our corporate headquarters in Sturtevant Wisconsin we take pride in delivering quality projects building strong relationships and fostering a collaborative team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify pursue and secure new business opportunities in retail construction tenant improvement and remodel programs that fit Horizons core client criteria
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients developers brokers and industry stakeholders
- Responsible for identifying tenant improvement opportunities developing and maintaining long-term partnerships and representing Horizon Retail Construction with professionalism
- Lead sales efforts from initial prospecting through onboarding
- Collaborate with preconstruction and operations teams to verify client requirements
- Represent Horizon Retail Construction at industry events and networking functions with sales team
- Track and report sales activity pipeline development and prospects
- Monitor market trends competitor activity and emerging opportunities within tenant improvement and national rollouts to support Horizons growth initiatives
- Support long-term account management and repeat client engagement strategies
Summary of Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Sales Communication or equivalent
- Excellent verbal oral and written communication skills
- Great listening and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A highly motivated self-starter
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
