About this role:
Global Sales & Services Operations (GSSO) is the team that helps shape Gartners mission-critical sales and services priorities and works with sales and services leaders to drive tactical and analytical insights. As an associate on the GSSO teamyoullbe at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of Gartners sales and services teams which are delivering approximately $4.9B in annual revenue and working to drive sustained double-digit growth. You will partner with business leaders across Gartner to support global sales and services teamscomprisedofnearly 9000associates who sell to and service every major functionindustryand market sector around the world.
Gartner invests heavily in sales support resources such as ourSales Enablement and Marketing Analytics programs. These programs are designed to supportongoingsalesskill developmentglobally as well astaking marketing-derived leadsand equipping sales to close them.
ThisBusiness Analystwill join ourMarketing AnalyticsteamfocusingonSales Enablementprogramsuccessby analyzing data developing insightsand providing data-driven recommendations.This role requiresstrong communication analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional business andsalesteams to translatedataintoactionablerecommendations.
What you will do:
Solveproblems with structured/unstructured quantitative data and deriveactionableinsights for improvingSales Enablement ROI
Deliver comprehensive analytics (reports analytics and presentations) to diagnose issuesidentifyrisks and lead conversations that inform and shape decision-making
Partnerwith key Gartner business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across many different GSSO functions
Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing best practices for data validation documentation and governance
Identifyopportunities for process data and reporting improvements increase efficiency and effectiveness
What you will need:
2-4 yearsproven experience as a Business Analystor Senior Business Analyst preferably workinginbusiness analytics and/orsales operations
Strongquantitative and qualitativeproblem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
Strong analytical skills includingproficiencywith Microsoft Excel and databases
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with different personalities across the organization
Strong understanding ofPowerBIand its capabilities
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks across different projects at once
Experience working with senior and executive leadership
A team player. You get along well with your colleagues and are always ready to help get things done. You enjoy working on projects with multiple people and share knowledge
Passionate about learning. You thrive on complex technical challenges and are always eager to learn the latest technologies
Organized and detailed-oriented. You think ahead of time about how best to implement new features and your code iscleanwell-organizedandproperly documented

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 72000 USD - 100000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO a 401k match up to $7200 per year the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount and more.
