Job Description:
As a Senior Business Analyst you will lead business analysis efforts for mission critical applications by collaborating with stakeholders vendors and technical teams to define requirements drive process improvements and support enterprise IT initiatives. You will play a key role in shaping project outcomes through requirements management testing strategies and strategic planning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather analyze and document requirements.
• Lead development of functional technical and business requirements for software projects.
• Conduct impact analysis and recommend improvements to business processes and workflows.
• Support RFP development including requirements documentation and cost estimation.
• Develop project plans timelines and forecasting estimates.
• Create process models and diagrams such as workflows use cases and sequence diagrams.
• Coordinate and support testing efforts including test plan and test case development.
• Serve as a liaison between vendors stakeholders and technical teams.
• Identify risks and issues and escalate appropriately.
• Support enterprise initiatives and align solutions with organizational strategy.

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and process modeling.
• Experience gathering and documenting business functional and technical requirements.
• Experience with project estimation planning and forecasting.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies such as Agile CMMI or similar frameworks.
• Experience developing test plans and collaborating with subject matter experts for validation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel Word Visio and Project.
• Ability to create RFP documentation for IT solutions and services procurement.
• Strong analytical organizational and problem solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical business and executive stakeholders.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems IT or related field preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in state government or public sector environments.
• Experience leading large complex enterprise IT initiatives.
• Familiarity with vendor management and enterprise architecture processes.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
