The Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch supporting customers managing orders and quotes coordinating with suppliers supervising branch personnel and ensuring accurate inventory and timely deliveries. The ideal candidate should be hands-on dependable organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial distribution environment.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day branch operations including customer service warehouse activity order processing and personnel oversight
- Communicate with customers regarding product needs quotes order status availability and delivery timelines
- Enter and process customer orders quotes purchase requests and related documentation accurately
- Source industrial fastener products by contacting vendors and suppliers for pricing availability and lead times
- Coordinate shipments deliveries and order fulfillment to ensure customer requirements are met
- Work closely with the Purchasing department to maintain stock levels and order supplies as needed
- Supervise train and support branch employees to ensure efficient workflow and strong customer service
- Maintain inventory accuracy through internal reporting documentation and warehouse data systems
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies warehouse procedures and operational standards
- Prepare reports and maintain records related to orders inventory customers and branch activity
- Support company goals by helping improve branch performance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Significant experience in the industrial fastener industry
- Prior experience in fastener distribution warehouse operations or industrial supply
- Previous management branch leadership or team supervision experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift boxes or materials up to 50 pounds
- Experience using warehouse inventory or order management systems or willingness to learn
- Strong understanding of standard and metric measurements related to fasteners and industrial products
