What youll be doing

Generating sales helps our business grow and youll help us achieve continued growth by providing exceptional customer service. As a Work from Home Inside Sales Representative youll take inbound calls from potential customers in response to promotional communications. Youll also make some outbound calls to customers who are eligible for new promotions. Youll help our customers understand how our wireless services will enable them to play work and live better all while working in a commissions-based environment and remotely from the convenience of your home office.

The primary responsibilities of the position include:

• Generate sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.

• Learn and uncover customers needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.

• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete sales solution.

• Close sales by using phenomenal communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.

• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.

Where youll be working

In this remote role youll work from home with occasional in-person training and meetings.

To be eligible for this position your home must be located within the state of Texas and within a reasonable commute to the Verizon hub location specified on this job posting. Onsite presence required for onboarding training and periodic center collaboration based on business needs. (e.g. youll be required to attend some in-person training and onsite call taking during initial training/transition followed by occasional in-person meetings and events throughout the year).

This full-time position requires you to be fluent in two languages and pass a language assessment to earn an additional $3000 per year in your paycheck.

Youll need to have:

• One or more years of work experience.

• One or more years of customer service experience.

• Bilingual Fluency in both English and Spanish.

• Willingness to work in a sales commission-based environment.

• Willingness to work evenings weekends and holidays.

• Meet all home office requirements listed below.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Based on the required in-person periodic center collaborations of this role candidates should live in Texas within a 75 mile radius of our listed hub location.

• An Associates Degree.

• Experience handling inbound and outbound customer calls to achieve sales.

• The ability to work effectively in an at-home environment independent of immediate supervision.

• Experience solving customer problems in a work-from-home environment.

Home office and virtual office Requirements:

• This is a work-from-home role with occasional in-person meetings and training.

• Home office must be located within the state of Texas and within a reasonable commute to the hub location specified on this job posting to attend training as well as periodic meetings as indicated by the business.

• Internet service with a direct connection to a cable or fiber modem capable of at least 25mbps (per your service plan; a monetary stipend may be provided to you). Wireless connections or DSL are not acceptable.

• A dedicated quiet private workspace.

• Verizon conducts periodic home audits via webcam to ensure your workspace meets requirements.

• The ability to self-manage in a remote work environment including setup of company-provided computer equipment and ongoing proactive skilled and effective management of your home network and connections.

• Demonstrated self-discipline time management skills resourcefulness and the ability to work collaboratively with leaders and on a team - all in a remote work environment.
