Aperion is looking for an Entry Level Audio Engineer to join our vibrant team in Oxford specializing in Information Technology. This full-time on-site position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in audio production and engineering while working within a supportive and innovative environment.
As an Audio Engineer at Aperion you will play a key role in assisting with the recording mixing and editing of audio projects. This role will help you develop your technical skills and artistic abilities contributing to various exciting projects that push the boundaries of sound and technology.
We offer a competitive salary range of $37 - $41 per hour along with a collaborative work atmosphere that promotes personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the recording and mixing of audio projects
- Collaborate with sound designers and other engineers
- Ensure high-quality audio production standards
- Manipulate audio tracks using industry-standard software
- Participate in sound checks and balance audio levels
- Maintain audio equipment and ensure proper functionality
- Support the team in various audio-related tasks as needed
- Learn and adapt to new audio technologies and techniques
Requirements
- Strong interest in audio engineering and production
- Basic understanding of audio software (e.g. Pro Tools Logic Pro)
- Excellent attention to detail and quality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced creative environment
- A degree or coursework in Audio Engineering Music Production or related field is a plus
- Familiarity with audio hardware and equipment
- Willingness to learn and grow within the audio field
