Seeking an experienced ATS Software Engineer to support large-scale Air Traffic Systems modernization initiatives. The role focuses on developing mission-critical high-performance software systems supporting air traffic management operations.
Responsibilities- Design develop and maintain Air Traffic Management and Air Traffic Systems software.
- Build and support real-time distributed software systems.
- Develop software using C C Java or Ada.
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Design messaging systems data pipelines and event-driven architectures.
- Develop and support applications in Linux/Unix environments.
- Build and enhance graphical user interfaces and operational monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Optimize system scalability performance reliability and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software and system issues.
- Bachelors Degree.
- 5 7 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong programming experience with C C Java or Ada.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration and development experience.
- Experience building distributed systems.
- Experience with messaging frameworks pipelines or event-driven systems.
- Exposure to GUI development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Air Traffic Systems (ATS) experience.
- Air Traffic Management (ATM) experience.
- Aerospace or Defense industry background.
- Experience with real-time or safety-critical systems.
- Experience working in regulated environments.
- Large-scale system integration experience.
