Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an Atlassian Expert (Operations & Projects) on behalf of our client in Sunnyvale CA or Bellevue WA. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced technology-driven environment where you will play a key role in managing and enhancing a complex Atlassian Cloud ecosystem.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Atlassian professional with strong expertise in administration workflow optimization automation and integrations. This role requires someone who can effectively balance operational support with strategic project execution while collaborating across teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives within the Atlassian platform ecosystem.
- Design configure implement and administer Jira Confluence and Jira Service Management (JSM) environments.
- Configure and optimize workflows permissions automation rules and platform administration.
- Develop support and maintain integrations scripting and automation solutions within Atlassian environments.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Atlassian Cloud platforms and provide technical guidance to stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements deliver solutions and communicate project updates effectively.
- Support ongoing platform improvements to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Jira Confluence Jira Service Management (JSM) and Atlassian Cloud Administration.
- Experience designing and optimizing workflows permissions automation rules and system configurations.
- Proven ability to build and maintain custom integrations scripting and automation solutions.
- Familiarity with REST APIs Atlassian marketplace applications and ScriptRunner.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Experience working in dynamic fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
- Prior consulting or contract engagement experience is a plus.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or technology-focused environments.
- Ability to manage both operational support and project delivery simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
