Job Description:
The Production Planning Associate will be responsible for creating material and production demands in SAP analyses and schedules SAP for alignment to Project schedule.
Essential Functions:
- Review of maintenance/modification requirements for contractual activities for aircraft maintenance projects through the interpretation of program Statements of Work engineering drawings technical manuals directives and other specifications.
- Participate in discussions with customers both internal and external regarding contractual maintenance and/or modification requirements and schedule for production and shop floor.
- Working knowledge of SAP MS Project and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Clearance.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with zero (0) to two (2) years of prior commercial or military engineering installation modification or maintenance aerospace experience in a hands-on labor capacity or in a production support function. (e.g. engineering supply chain quality planning.)
- In lieu of a degree a minimum of four (4) years of prior commercial or military engineering installation modification or maintenance aerospace experience in a hands-on labor capacity or in a production support function. (e.g. engineering supply chain quality planning.)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Active Secret Clearance.
