Job Summary
The Yale Department of Pediatrics is recruiting for a Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician on the Academic Clinician track in the Developmental Behavioral Program within the Section of Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics to join our outstanding team committed to the care of children and families in our community.
The Yale DBP Program is currently directed by a physician-scientist DBP who conducts research on the genetics of autism directs an early autism diagnostic clinic directs the DBP Fellowship Program and co-directs the Pediatrics Resident Rotation in DBP. There is an additional DBP clinician who has a broad-spectrum clinic serving children and adolescents with diverse diagnoses including ADHD genetic disorders speech-language delays post-traumatic stress disorders autism and cerebral palsy. They also care for patients in the Yale Multidisciplinary Spina Bifida Clinic and support the education and research efforts.
The Yale DBP Program has strong collaboration with the general pediatricians at an affiliated federally qualified health care center as well as with psychologists neuropsychologists SLPs and social workers at the Yale Child Study Center. Furthermore they work closely with the Medical-Legal Partnership program to meet the needs of a vulnerable patient population.
The recruited faculty member will have an excellence in clinical care which will include developmental and behavioral pediatric care at our 350 George Street office in New addition this job involves participation in the educational mission of the Section including training of residents and medical students.
The successful applicant will be appointed at the Yale School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics commensurate with their level of qualifications and experience on the Academic Clinician Track.
