Assessment Data Entry Specialist

OVERVIEW

The Cache County Assessors Office invites candidates to apply for an Assessment Data Entry Specialist position. The Assessment Data Entry Specialist position supports accurate well-documented property records for assessment and public service. This entry-level onsite role (179 N Main St Logan UT) is full-time MondayFriday 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m. at $20.63/hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include entering and validating sales and permit-related information; updating property records and sketches using spreadsheets and assessment-related software; supporting record audits cleanup projects and report preparation; assisting with field data collection and documentation for appraiser review; and providing professional confidential assistance to the public in accordance with policy and applicable laws.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma/equivalent
• Data entry/records experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and databases; familiarity with CAMA/GIS/permitting/sketch tools preferred
• Ability to follow written procedures meet deadlines and communicate professionally
