Provide new hire training to Caterpillar employees and agency associates. Responsible for coordinating documenting maintaining and scheduling other required training as needed.
- Teach CAT employees how to assemble
- Assist the production floor with additional coaching/training of current assemblers
- Review and assess employee work training needs
- Review and update training plans and programs as needed
- Update and maintain training records
- Assist with coordination of training schedule
- Must have 3-5 years of assembly experience
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have at least Expected or higher rating on most recent evaluation
- Must have 3 - 5 years of assembly experience
- Must certified in crane operations
- Must have knowledge of torque processes
Top candidates will also have:
- Team Lead experience
- Previous training coaching or teaching experience
- Post-secondary education
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Manufacturing experience
- Experience in lifting device manufacturing testing or inspection
- Advanced oral and written communications skills
- Ability to analyze and organize training reference material
- Advanced knowledge of assembly processes
Shift Information:
- 2nd Shift- Monday- Thursday 5pm- 3:30am

- This is a 2nd shift hourly position in Athens GA starting at $28.75 /hour (includes 8% shift differential)
Summary Pay Range:
$26.62 - $33.25Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
