This position is primarily responsible for supporting the preventative maintenance and basic hardware error troubleshooting of the automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS). The AS/RS Technician I will be expected to read system schematics and collaborate withlogisticspersonnel andViastorehotline support toassistin resolving system errors. This role includes documenting maintenance activities error resolutions and work orders in the facilitys CMMS software system. TheAS/RSTechnician I may alsoassistwith general facility maintenance tasks as prioritized by the Facilities Manager. All facilities personnel are expected to perform their duties in a manner that ensures the safety of themselves and all employees. Success in this role requires strong teamwork attention to detail and effective communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assistin thepreventativemaintenance of the distribution centers AS/RS &conveyor equipment
Perform routine scheduledwork orderson various pieces of equipment throughout thelogisticsautomation system
Identify troubleshoot& correctlogisticssystem failuresto support the warehouse team
Work with OEM (Viastore& other sub-contractors) totroubleshoot andimplement corrective actions to system errors
Document and communicate the use of all spare parts forappropriate replenishment
Maintain statistics & reports on systems performance as needed
Communicate with sub-contractors (suppliers) for system upgrades failures and / or repairs as needed
Provide awareness training of warehouseteamleaders onsystem errors andtroubleshooting of routine failures
Responsible tomaintain& update thepreventativemaintenance schedule in facilitiesCMMSsoftware tool
Participate in Logistics Planningshiftmeetings as needed
Document history logswithin the CMMSmaintenance software for tracking work and addto theknowledgebasefor others awareness
At times perform general facilities maintenancetasksas time permits and prioritized by the facilities manager
Follow all OSHA and company safety rules in all maintenance procedures
Follow all environmental guidelines when using / disposing of materials
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED.
Five (3-5) years experience in largelogisticsfacility maintenance operations.
Ability to read and use engineering drawings.
Good understanding of controls and automated systems
Gooddecision-makingskills.
Computer experience in Microsoft Office preferred.
Ability to prioritize workload.
Demonstrates a willingness to collaborate with others build relationships and involve others in decision making.
Demonstrates the ability to deliver results by solving or supporting others in solving problems prioritizing tasks and/or resources and focusing on outcomes.

Must be able to work flexible hours including eveningsweekendsandPRNovertime.
Must be willing to support the facility maintenance team in a collaborative environment.
Must be able to handle extreme temperatures.
Must be able to drive for up to 2 hours.
Must be able to speak and understand English to communicate verbally and in writing.
Regular and on-time attendance.
Must be able to climb up to 50 feet.
