Job Summary
Job Title: Instructional Assistant/Achievers Aftercare - Armleder Campus
Reports To: Armleder Building Principal
Status: Full-time Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Starting August 2026 following the school
calendar
Job Summary: Support classroom teacher in all aspects of running an Elementary environment
Essential Job Functions:
Act in a supportive role to classroom teacher assisting with administrative tasks
classroom management and student instruction
Supervise large and small groups of children
Nurture young children in their faith
Keep the classroom neat clean and organized
Work with small groups of children to facilitate their learning
Job Requirements and Preferences:
High school diploma
Experience in Elementary Education or teaching degree in Elementary Education with
current state of Ohio certification
Prior teaching experience preferred
Leader in Me - 7 Habits
Responsive Classroom
Must be a believing Christian who is comfortable in a diverse Christian community
Must obtain a state of Ohio Educational Aide Permit prior to August 1 2026 if do not
have a teaching certification
