Coordinates clinical program activities including communication with stakeholders scheduling and resource management to ensure successful program implementation. Provides healthcare to individuals or groups that requires knowledge and skill obtained from advanced formal education certification and clinical experience. Practices within professional scope promotes patient advocacy in accordance with the professions Code of Ethics and maintains a current Ohio Advanced license.


Job Description:


Essential Functions:

  • Implements and upholds values and standards while collaborating to develop program goals and best practice guidelines. Utilizes evidence-based practice and serves as a clinical expert for policies procedures documentation and skills.
  • Upholds professional competence to support program operations and provide expert consultation to team members on clinical operations and program growth.
  • Assesses patients and/or populations develops implements and evaluates plans of care clearly documents and communicates information efficiently.
  • Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established guidelines and standards. Leverages technology and informatics to optimize healthcare outcomes.
  • Assists in the education training and development of new and existing staff members. Commits to continued professional development of self and others.
  • Engages in the community of the work unit by staying aware of changes participating in data collection or auditing and engaging in Quality Improvement.
  • Contributes to the division specialty goals and strategic plan.

Education Requirement:

Master of Science degree or equivalent provision required.

Licensure Requirement:

Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Ohio required.

Certifications:

Maintains national certification as APRN in the appropriate population foci for the position or PA required.
