Essential Functions:
- Implements and upholds values and standards while collaborating to develop program goals and best practice guidelines. Utilizes evidence-based practice and serves as a clinical expert for policies procedures documentation and skills.
- Upholds professional competence to support program operations and provide expert consultation to team members on clinical operations and program growth.
- Assesses patients and/or populations develops implements and evaluates plans of care clearly documents and communicates information efficiently.
- Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established guidelines and standards. Leverages technology and informatics to optimize healthcare outcomes.
- Assists in the education training and development of new and existing staff members. Commits to continued professional development of self and others.
- Engages in the community of the work unit by staying aware of changes participating in data collection or auditing and engaging in Quality Improvement.
- Contributes to the division specialty goals and strategic plan.
Education Requirement:
Master of Science degree or equivalent provision required.
Licensure Requirement:
Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Ohio required.
Certifications:
Maintains national certification as APRN in the appropriate population foci for the position or PA required.
