Rehab Without Walls is seeking an experienced and motivated Admissions Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact and a strong advocate for our patients and their this critical role you will help guide individuals through the admissions process with empathy expertise and a commitment to exceptional care.

Proven experience verifying insurance benefits and negotiating with commercial payers and workers compensation programs
Strong knowledge of reimbursement processes and payer guidelines
The ability to communicate effectively with patients families referral sources and clinical teams
A collaborative mindset and dedication to patient advocacy and positive outcomes
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
What Youll Do
Serve as the primary contact for incoming referrals and admissions coordination
Verify insurance coverage and secure authorizations
Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to facilitate seamless patient transitions
Advocate for patients by ensuring access to appropriate care and services
Build and maintain relationships with referral sources and payers

Qualifications
What you will need:
Minimum of Associates degree in business or health care related field preferred.
Related admissions and medical insurance work experience will be considered in place of degree
Broad knowledge of medical terminology
Proficient data entry and computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Able to function in position with minimal supervision
Effective and professional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
