Job Summary
Job Title: Human Resources Assistant III

With your passion for people youll partner with the plant staff including Production Supervisors Union Stewards and Hourly employees as appropriate to drive plant engagement and provide excellent customer service to plant personnel. Well lean on you to leverage your attention to detail and multitasking skills to produce daily and weekly scheduling process and manage timecards metric reporting and more!
Key Responsibilities
Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate tracking to ensure completion of job-specific training
Hands-on partnership with Production Supervisor to process production paperwork conduct investigations issue attendance disciplines and research grievances and complaints
Contribute to efficient operations and maintain labor relations by checking in employees accurately scheduling employees according to the plants collective bargaining agreement
Report on HR metrics as needed
Maintains and processes a variety of confidential records including personnel files employment data etc.
Support plant projects and events as needed
Qualifications
High School Diploma
1-2 years experience in a Human Resources environment preferred but not required
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred but not required
Proven strong ability to use independent critical thinking and decision making
Demonstrated commitment to customer service and needs of the business
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective organizational and time management skills
Passion about your work
Intermediate to advanced computer skills primarily Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint
