Job Title: Account Representative
Location: Atlanta GA 30328
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr (W2)
Duration: 06 months
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM Monday Friday 8 hours/day; occasional overtime/weekend work possible.
HR HYBRID ROLE: CURRENLTY IN THE OFFICE 3 DAYS PER WEEK EVERY OTHER WEEK. HOWEVER IF THERE IS ADDITIONAL NEED TO WORK FROM THE OFFICE OR THE SCHEDULE CHANGES THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE FLEXIBILTY TO REPORT TO THE OFFICE AS NEEDED.
Job Summary
The Fiber Coordinator manages the movement of recyclable materials from external distribution centers and other National Account facilities to internal mills or external customers. The role involves high-volume single-product transactions (90% truck 10% rail/export) scheduling weekly pickups based on sales allocations and serving as the primary point of contact for suppliers customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Business Excellence
- Process supplier/customer orders inquiries and shipment concerns.
- Manage weekly allocations of recyclable commodities.
- Coordinate logistics for timely pickups/deliveries.
- Ensure proper mill inventory levels.
- Adapt to market changes affecting schedules.
- Handle quality/safety exceptions urgently.
- Maintain accurate supplier payments and customer invoices.
- Track and update account data in systems (CieTrade Book of Business notes).
- Meet weekly performance metrics.
People and Culture
- Communicate clearly with all stakeholders.
- Build collaborative relationships internally (Logistics Accounting Sales) and externally (suppliers/customers).
- Act as liaison between Sales Supplier and Customer for issue resolution.
- Assist with onboarding new accounts.
- Resolve payment/invoice disputes via AP/AR departments.
- Support training and continuing education initiatives.
Qualifications
Education
- Required: High school diploma
- Preferred: BA/BS or equivalent experience in high-volume customer service/support
Experience
- Entry-level; no prior recycling experience necessary.
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Office: Intermediate (Excel Outlook PowerPoint Word)
- Typing: High proficiency
