Job Summary
2nd Shift Warehouse Material Handler
Rate: $20.50/hr plus $1 shift differential
Hours:
2nd Shift M-Th is 3:30pm-12am
2nd Shift M-F is 2:30pm-11pm

Responsibilities:
- Load shipments including export shipments and any others when workload demands.
- Process all necessary paperwork for outbound shipments including the shipment checklist the bill of lading and customer attachments.
- Scan all shipments requiring scanning procedure.
- Assist in the monitoring of stock levels and in the coordinating of pass-thru repacking.
- Assist other areas within the department when workload necessitates.
- Maintain all 5S standards established in the department.
- Maintain tools equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Equipment used:
Electric forklift (standup and sit-down)
Drexel forklift (wire guided swing mast)
Man-up turret forklift (wire guided some operators know it as a cherry picker)
RF scanner (DSI Software)
Desktop inventory management systems (use JD Edwards- these interfaces with DSI)
- Labeling stacking of boxes or freight repacking etc.
Requirements:
- Competency in PC skills such as Excel and inventory management systems are greatly preferred and will be part of the daily work
- Forklift experience
- Must pass a drug test and background check
