Job Summary

Grit Blast Technician 2nd Shift

Pay: $18.00$21.00 per hour

We are seeking a Grit Blast Technician to join our 2nd shift team in an AS9100D-certified gas turbine repair and refurbishment facility serving the energy aerospace and defense industries.

Responsibilities

  • Operate abrasive blasting cabinets to remove coatings oxidation and surface contaminants from industrial and aerospace gas turbine components
  • Operate a large walk-in abrasive blast room for oversized industrial gas turbine components
  • Use forklifts cranes and pallet jacks to safely move materials
  • Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of abrasive blasting equipment
  • Read understand and follow technical work instructions
  • Work collaboratively with team leads and other team members
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
  • Stand for extended periods and perform occasional heavy lifting
