Grit Blast Technician 2nd Shift
Pay: $18.00$21.00 per hour
We are seeking a Grit Blast Technician to join our 2nd shift team in an AS9100D-certified gas turbine repair and refurbishment facility serving the energy aerospace and defense industries.
Responsibilities
- Operate abrasive blasting cabinets to remove coatings oxidation and surface contaminants from industrial and aerospace gas turbine components
- Operate a large walk-in abrasive blast room for oversized industrial gas turbine components
- Use forklifts cranes and pallet jacks to safely move materials
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of abrasive blasting equipment
- Read understand and follow technical work instructions
- Work collaboratively with team leads and other team members
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
- Stand for extended periods and perform occasional heavy lifting
