Job Summary

1. LWC acts as CLFs agent in cohering and driving agile adaptation of theLand Forces preparing it for dynamic and complex operating environments.
2. Lead delivery of Live Simulation systems for CLF involved in all stages of CADMID cycle & interface with CTTP DE&S SET & Land Forces.

3. In-service manager for TES & Synthetic Wrap. Lead User for CLF. Routinely work to 1* and brief to 2/3* and cross service industry and JFC.

4. Lead for TES and Synthetic Wrap User Requirements for capture prioritisation and representation.

5. Support Change Managers in delivery of programmes/projects relevant to TES & SW. Including CTTP CTS & simulation solutions for new equipment.

6. Liaise with Army HQ (D Futures CTTP JFC and CDs) DE&S DSTL & industry to enable & manage delivery of Live Sim capability to trg.

7. Allocate Live assets across trg and advise CTEs. Manage demands rebalancing systems secure funding & enable contract solutions to meet trg.

8. Support experimentation with Live Sim; contracting additional capability if required. Drive Multi-National Simulation and interoperability.

9. Contract management with DE&S and industry. Involves regular visits to overseas CTEs industry manufacturing bases & foreign partners.

10. Lead SO2 for Branch. Deputise for SO1 Sim where required.
