Job Summary
Location: Rothbury Northumberland (NE65)
Salary: 48600 - 60000 per annum
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 9:00am 5:00pm. Flexibility required to work weekends bank holidays and sleep-ins when needed.
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
Sleep-ins: As required paid at 75 per sleep-in
Service: Childrens Residential Home
Service Users: Children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and complex health needs
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Residential Childcare (essential) Level 5 Leadership and Management for Children and Young Peoples Workforce (or willingness to work towards)
Experience Required: Previous experience working with children and young people within a residential setting

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a childrens residential home in Rothbury. Number of beds: 3-bed childrens home
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a dedicated leader who can inspire a team and provide outstanding care and support for children and young people.
The successful candidate will have:
Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification
Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or willingness to work towards it
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance
Experience working with children and young people in residential care settings
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills
The ability to manage challenging situations with empathy emotional intelligence and professionalism
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
