Talentmark is partnering with a fast-growing US-headquartered biotech at the forefront of antibody discovery and development.

They are seeking a scientifically minded individual looking to move into a client-facing business development position within the life sciences sector. Fluency in both Mandarin and English is essential for this role as the role involves building relationships and supporting clients across international markets as well as working closely with Mandarin-speaking partners. This opportunity is particularly well suited to a recent PhD graduate or early-career PhD-qualified scientist who wants to combine their scientific background with business development relationship management and commercial strategy.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Master the science and business skills in the above-mentioned fields.
• Actively reach out to prospective customers explore business opportunities manage negotiations and secure contracts.
• Attend trade shows/relevant conferences.
• Support the Marketing Team in branding and building awareness in the marketplace.

Your Background:

• PhD (minimum) in a bioscience field with hands-on experience working with mouse models is essential.
• Strong interest to learn advances in biopharmaceutical science and business.
• Based in or able to commute to Cambridge or London areas
• Enjoy networking with top scientists from biotech and biopharma companies.
• Proven track record of revenue generation is a plus.
• Mandarin language skills is essential as well as good level of English is a requirement.
• Willingness to travel meetings conferences/vendor shows.
