In this role you will be instrumental in creating a safe nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can learn develop and thrive. If you are an enthusiastic educator who loves bringing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to life we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality care and early years education ensuring the individual needs of every child are met.
Plan observe and implement engaging play-based activities aligned with the EYFS curriculum.
Act as a key person to a designated group of children monitoring their progress and maintaining accurate developmental records.
Build and maintain strong positive partnerships with parents and carers keeping them informed of their childs day and developmental milestones.
Ensure all safeguarding health and safety policies are strictly adhered to at all times.
Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team to maintain a positive and inclusive room environment.
Requirements
Essential Requirements:
A recognized Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (e.g. CACHE NVQ or equivalent).
A strong working knowledge of the EYFS framework and how to implement it effectively.
Demonstrable experience working within an early years setting.
Excellent understanding of safeguarding child protection and health and safety procedures.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with children parents and colleagues.
A warm proactive and reliable personality with a genuine passion for early childhood development.
