Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3)

per year Full Time All Year Round

As a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner youll join a warm and supportive team thats passionate about giving every child the very best start in life. Youll play an important role in creating engaging learning experiences building meaningful relationships and helping children develop through play exploration and curiosity.

What Were Looking For

  • Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working within an early years setting.
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
  • A caring enthusiastic and nurturing approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting childrens learning and development.
  • Enjoys outdoor learning and creating engaging play experiences.

Your Role

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Plan and provide engaging activities that support childrens learning confidence and development.
  • Build positive relationships with children families and colleagues.
  • Observe assess and record childrens progress to support their individual learning journeys.
  • Make full use of the nurserys beautiful indoor spaces garden and woodland area to create exciting learning opportunities.
  • Encourage childrens independence curiosity and creativity through play-based learning.
  • Maintain a safe stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
  • Follow safeguarding health and safety and nursery policies at all times.
