Your role in the blend
As aCategory Managerat Paulig you willbe responsible fordeveloping and driving category growthin theAsian categorywithin ourCustomer Brands(private label)businesswhile being part of a culture that values ownership curiosity and working together to create sustainable growth.
Working closely with commercial teams you will help shape customer strategiesidentifygrowth opportunities and strengthen how Paulig uses Category Management and Revenue Growth Management to create value. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining analytical depth with commercial influence in an international business environment.
You report to theHead ofCategoryManagement& Revenue Growth CustomerBrandsand work in a hybrid setup.The role can be based in Milton Keynes or Tipton (UK) Roeselare (Belgium) or Barcelona (Spain) with occasional travel.
Your key ingredients
Turn data into growth identifyinginsights to shape category strategies and unlock commercial opportunities.
Develop category insights and recommendations to drive growth in the Asian category across customerschannelsand marketswithscope for agility across other categories if needed for high value projects
Analyze market shopper and customer data and translate findings intostories withclear commercial actions
Leverage key commercial drivers such as pricing pack-price architecture mix optimization and trade terms
Support commercial teams in building customer plans and strengthening category thinking in their day-to-day work
Contribute to developing Category Management and Revenue Growth Management capabilities withinPaulig
Confident inpresenting to andworking directly with Retailers when the need /opportunityarises
What helps you succeed
Connect analytical thinking with business impact bringing a sharp commercial mindset and a passion for turning insights into action.
A few years of experience (approx. 46 years) in FMCG salesretail buyingcategory management insights or agency roles
Strong analytical mindset and excellent Excel skills with the ability to work confidently with complex data
Experiencein building compelling storiesbased onmarket data sources (e.g.EPOS panel data) and translating data into actionable insights
Understanding of dynamic pricing models linked to volumesmakingassortment-based pricing recommendations and assessment of trade terms in the context of driving profitability (RGM specific experience is a strong plus)
Experience or knowledge of retail space management and merchandising tender management and annual planning marketintelligenceand competitor benchmarkingdesirable
Experience or interest in Asian food categories in Western Europe is an advantage
Strong communicationand collaboration skills with the ability to work across functions and markets
Fluency in English
