The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our data team. This role will be responsible for developing our and new streaming data architecture and Data Warehouse. This role will be based in Sri Lanka. Our data infrastructure is fully AWS cloud-based.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain our data pipelines.
• Develop Data Warehouse in AWS Redshift.
• Maintain code repositories in Github.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting production ETL ELT pipelines.
• Optimization of queries in Postgres (RDS) Redshift.

Requirements

• AI first mindset and skilled in using AI for coding.
• 5 years of experience as a DBA/Data Engineer working on Cloud technologies.
• Working knowledge of Redshift any other columnar Database would be an added benefit.
• Good knowledge in AWS technologies and services.
• Very good SQL skills.
• Skilled in Python.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Apache KafkaApache Airflow knowledge preferred.
• Very good Analytical mindset.
• High energy motivated and driven to succeed.
