Lead design development and maintenance of applications using C# Core building and deploying cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure driving automation and operational excellence

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant IT or Computer Sciences tertiary degree
• Relevant IT certification
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the IT sector with some responsibility for managing large cloud/hybrid environments
• Relevant Azure certifications are a plus

Essential Skills Requirements

Technical:

• Strong experience with C# Core
• Solid understanding of Azure services (App Services AKS Key Vault etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm charts
• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automation
• Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Version control with Git
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model AWM Charter

Agile and DevOps:

• Execution according to the Agile Methodology and attending of all team meetings including Stand ups Sprint Review Sprint retrospectives Sprint Planning meetings etc.
• Daily use of the Agile Tool Chain as per the updates required by the respective feature team or teams
• Jira and Confluence experience

Stakeholder Management:

• Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
• Interaction with clients through meetings calls and emails
• Interact with consultants across broader team locally and abroad

Soft Skills:

• Self-motivated and keen attention to detail or time management
• Completely independent worker that will only escalate tasks that are complex and outside of their span of control
• May need to lead individual members of a team of Entry and Advanced level experts

Advantageous Skills Requirements

• Frontend development experience especially with Angular
• Experience with Docker
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging in cloud environments
• Exposure to Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of IAC

Role Requirements

Operations and Support:

• Responsible for 24/7 operations as your main focus which includes incident handling and resolution
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure issues
• Receiving troubleshooting resolving and closing operational and maintenance tickets within SLAs

Delivery and Configuration:

• Design develop and maintain applications using C# Core
• Build and deploy cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Develop and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments
• Specify new products processes standards based on organization strategy or set short- to mid-term operational plans
• The requests are often unclear and will need substantial investigation to ensure that the specifics are well understood by all parties

Continuous Improvement:

• Improve a product or a system that already exists by making conceptual changes and enhancements
• Write clean maintainable and testable code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
• Can manage the solution for complex problems that may require simple solutions but affect multiple systems

Documentation and Knowledge:

• Create and maintain Solution Guides
• Ensure Knowledge Transfer within team
• May need to lead individual members of a team of Entry and Advanced level experts
