The Role
This is a senior leadership role for a chef who thrives on both creative culinary artistry and tight operational control. You will oversee multiple kitchen outlets across the reserve driving culinary innovation while strictly managing budgets administration and team development. You will also play a key role in our farm-to-table and community-driven initiatives
Role Overview:
Lead and manage all kitchen operations across multiple lodge sites
Maintain exceptional food standards aligned with luxury hospitality
Drive cost control stock management and kitchen administration
Develop and train kitchen teams
Oversee menu implementation and innovation
Engage professionally with guests
Ensure hygiene health & safety and operational compliance
Work closely with the Grow Zone to incorporate fresh seasonal produce
Support and contribute to the reserves community and charity initiatives
Candidate Profile:
Proven Head Chef experience in lodge or high-end hospitality
Strong leadership and financial management skills
Comfortable in a remote/bush environment
Creative detail-driven guest-focused
Ability to manage multiple outlets

Salary: R35000 R40000 (dependent on experience)
