Duties & Responsibilities
We partner with leading organisations across fintech banking consulting and tech that are investing heavily in data engineering and analytics infrastructure. We are proactively building a pipeline of Data Engineers for upcoming projects particularly in cloud-based data transformation and modern ETL environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Develop and optimise data integration and transformation processes
- Work with structured and unstructured datasets
- Ensure data quality integrity and performance
- Collaborate with analysts scientists and business teams
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education:
- Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
Experience:
- 37 years in Data Engineering or ETL development roles
- Hands-on experience building data pipelines at scale
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP advantageous)
- Exposure to data warehousing projects
Skills:
- Strong programming in Python and SQL
- Experience with tools such as Apache Spark Airflow Kafka
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks and data processing techniques
- Understanding of data modelling and warehousing principles
