• Youll regularly monitor and drive the performance of suppliers and service providers (Liebherr-Aerospace internal and external) actively support respective audits and establish/implement corrective actions.
• Youll monitor and drive overall performance (e.g. quality cost and delivery) across the Supply Chain optimising costs whilst ensuring continuity of supply.
• Youll drive the Make or Buy and supplier/source selection process.
• Youll lead RFIs/ RFQs value engineering cost analysis and contract negotiations for equipment and capital projects.
• Youll partner closely with stakeholders and leadership to support investment decisions and execution.
• Youll deliver quantifiable procurement-based benefits with clear deliverables (pricing specification commercial terms on-time deployment).
• Youll manage multiple capital equipment (CAPEX) purchases concurrently balancing priorities across complex CAPEX and Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) initiatives.
• Youll mandate the establishment evaluation and approval of specifications for issuance and award of bids.
• Youll actively manage supplier relationships performance and claims (especially for Strategic and Bottleneck suppliers).
• Youll spearhead contracts and price negotiation with suppliers.
• Youll identify evaluate and set the path for future capability/sourcing needs vendor sourcing and supplier development in compliance with the companys strategy and policies.
• Youll ensure conformance of our supply chain & procurement business as well as supplier activities with company policies processes and governance.
• Youll establish and lead a robust purchase-to-payment process and ensure compliance.
• Youll propose participate in and support relevant continuous improvement initiatives/projects.
• Youll monitor spending and compliance with budgets as well as market conditions and merchandise costs including regular or ad-hoc reporting
• Any other task as assigned.

• Diploma or Degree in Procurement/Supply Chain or equivalent/relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated experience and relevant certification from CIPS CPSM CSCP and CSSBB.
• At least 5 years of demonstrable professional experience in an Aerospace MRO environment.
• Good negotiation analysis and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for significant equipment / CAPEX spend.
• Track record in developing and executing procurement strategies.
• Technical strength with existing knowledge and understanding of how to buy equipment based on specifications.
• Extensive experience in vendor specification/ technical discussions commercial negotiations.
• Strong commercial acumen based on an analytical mindset.
• Strong IT and data analytics skills.
• Able to work with minimum supervision and in varying teams across domains and departments.
• Good comprehension and analytical skills to provide solutions and insights to various stakeholders strategic decisions.
• Willing/able to travel at short notice and work outside office hours if necessary.
• Proficiency in MS Office software.
