We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President Product Proposition Development.

In this role you will:

  • Product Positioning & Segmentation Define and execute HSBC Lifes product proposition strategies across customer segments product lines and distribution channels. Monitor global and regional competitor trends to ensure propositions remain market-leading and relevant.
  • Differentiation & Proposition Development Craft innovative client-centric propositions and positioning for our products and drive propagation of these propositions by leveraging HSBCs global wealth platform technical expertise and international brand. Clearly differentiate HSBC Lifes offerings versus competitors with tailored positioning and messaging by channel.
  • Cross-functional delivery Partner across product development pricing actuarial reinsurance channels marketing and training teams to deliver best-in-class product propositions
  • Distribution partnership & feedback loops Establish close collaboration with internal and external distribution partners to refine and enhance product propositions and solutions. Build strong feedback loops with distribution channels to improve product sales effectiveness and capture insights for new product innovation.
  • Executive-ready product pitch & presentation excellence Own the quality of product proposition narratives andensure strong polished presentation slidesthat translate technical product features into clear customer proposition equipping stakeholders with compelling messaging.
  • Distribution & stakeholder engagement Partner closely with product distribution training customer and marketing teams to craft and deliver initiatives that enhance product positioning across product lines customer needs and channels. Tailor presentations positioning and sales messaging to empower distribution partners and client-facing teams positioning HSBC Life as insurer of choice.

To be successful you will need:

  • Degree in Business Finance Actuarial Science or related field;
  • Strong experience in life insurance with a strong focus on HNW propositions product positioning and distribution or technical expertise in product design would be an advantage.
  • Deep understanding of client needs in Singapore and across Asia particularly around wealth transfer legacy planning and cross-border structuring.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with experience engaging private bankers wealth advisors and senior executives.
  • Strategic mindset with operational excellence in product go-to-market leadership.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills with a proven ability to create crisp executive-ready slides and deliver clear persuasive messages to senior stakeholders and distribution teams
