We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President Client Management.

In this role you will:

• Be responsible for profitable growth in the health portfolio in line with top line and bottom-line business targets
• Responsible for underwriting business cases in accordance with established underwriting guidelines to achieve overall portfolio profitability
• Identifying and taking actions to mitigate any insurance risk; Ongoing compliance with external and internal guidelines and maintaining supporting documentation to satisfy audit requirements
• Prepare new business and renewal quotations within turnaround times; Provide timely and quality responses to internal and external customers.
• Ongoing contribution to developing and refining existing processes service levels underwriting guidelines and policy contract wording; Delivering reporting for monitoring of portfolio and service levels
• Coach and mentor 1 or 2 Junior underwriters
• Managing relationships with key international brokers to growth client portfolio
• Developing and executing strategies to grow profitable businesses and retain a healthy health portfolio.

To be successful you will need:

• Relevant experience in the health space and managing brokers
• University degree with relevant insurance papers (HI M5 M9)
• MS Office application proficiency
• Underwriting skills Key Account Manager skills and customer/intermediary relationship management
• Meticulous organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Superior analytical skills good communication and interpersonal skills and strong business acumen
