The Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to underwrite new business and renewals within specified guidelines and authority levels while providing technical support and overseeing profitable growth within the insurance class. Additionally the role involves managing underwriting activities and P&L responsibility for corporate products as well as fostering relationships with intermediaries and business partners to drive underwriting service delivery and innovation.

Your New Role

• Responsible for underwriting activities for corporate segment products.

• Manage relationships with intermediaries and business partners for underwriting service delivery and product development.

• Ensure personal technical development for optimal performance.

• Evaluate risk for new business and renewals to achieve profitable growth.

• Keep abreast of market dynamics and demonstrate market cycle awareness.

• Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements in underwriting activities.

• Develop and maintain good relationships with customers intermediaries and stakeholders.

• Achieve key performance indicators on growth profitability and servicing satisfaction.

• Contribute to the development and execution of the business plan.

• Support the implementation of team strategy to achieve business targets.

About You

• Significant experience in Property Underwriting and intermediary management

• Exposure to insurance business.
