Job Summary
Job Purpose and Impact
We are looking for a detailed proactive & strong analytical problem-solving Supply Planner to manage short to mid-term supply plans for Chocolate production. This role ensures product availability efficient inventory levels and manages supply chain reliability & cost management. He/she collaborates & works closely with product line customer service operations production procurement and warehouse logistics teams to ensure smooth
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts and production capacity.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining the overall production schedule ensuring quality and adherence to resource availability & capability optimization.
- Monitor execution of supply plan & track supply performance on production scheduling adherence line utilizations to ensure supply chain reliability.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust plans according to production lead-time and demand/supply requirements.
- Coordinate with production scheduler/material planner to ensure production capacity & materials availability to ensure execution of supply plan.
- Identify supply risks and propose mitigation actions.
- Validate & maintain planning data and parameters in ERP system to ensure data visibility & accuracy.
- Work closely with plant ops team to maximize/optimize plant utilization to improve supply reliably production efficiency lead-time and reduce changeovers wastage & production costs.
- Help develop gap coverage plans during inventory shortages or quality crisis.
- Help create requirements plan and long-term supply plan for assigned products and locations as input for the integrated business planning cycle.
- Manage & resolve supply planning- related challenges arising from production disruption (eg. down-time manpower constraints quality issues) materials availability and urgent requirements.
- Involve in new product launch project charter commercialization (end-to-end) supply chain processes to ensure control adherence & timely execution to deliver & meet product launch.
- Participate in generating and executing cycle and safety stock plans with approved supply plan inputs.
- Prepare production supply/inventory related reports & key performance metrics monitoring for weekly S&OE and monthly Supply Review meeting for planning updates.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain Business or related field.
- 5 years experience in supply or production planning preferably in food commodity manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Able to work in fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS office especially Excel macro Power Bi & statistical forecasting knowledge for data visual and analysis.
- Familiar with ERP systems (AX Dynamics SAP Oracle etc.)
- Willing to be based at Tuas
