Service Engineer

Job Summary

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Provide customer-focused service including troubleshooting maintenance and repair of Emerson marine products
• Perform on-site activities such as commissioning testing and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
• Prepare timely accurate and complete service reports in line with established standards
• Deliver technical training and presentations to customers and internal teams to build product understanding and capability
• Offer remote technical support via phone and email for both new and existing customers
• Partner with sales teams to support technical discussions customer meetings and onboard surveys
• Manage pre- and post-service administrative activities to ensure smooth execution and documentation

For This Role You Will Need:

• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in the marine industry working onboard vessels or offshore installations.
• Good analytical & solving skills coupled with minimum sales/marketing skills.
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills especially influencing skills.
• A collaborative mindset and a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel including frequent or short-notice assignments when required
• Working knowledge and hands-on experience on hydraulic systems and their applications
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and networking concepts (such as Modbus P-NET TCP/IP and Ethernet)
  

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Diploma/Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
