Senior Nursing Aide (Seniors Services)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Measure seniors vital signs review records
• Identify changes in seniors physical well-beingbehaviours report to senior care staff or supervisor andcaregiver if necessary. Record all communication notessubmit incident reports where required
• Assist seniors in their medication
• Monitor seniors care plans and provide inputs
• Provide 1st line of support to medicalemergencies/accidents/wound care. Use of PPE ifrequired
• Assist seniors with ADL activities and hygiene care transfers toileting feeding hydration fallprevention measures
• Provide training to team in areas such as transferstoileting basic medical assistance.

Support team in:

• Monitoring of seniors physical and mental health andwell-being
• Engaging seniors through planning and leading ofexercises and activities
• Serving meals and tea breaks
• Ensuring infection control procedures maintaincleanliness and safety of the premise
• Provide support as a transport escort to send and fetchclients to and from centre if BCLS-trained.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in ahealthcare environment
• Advanced Diploma in Nursing/bachelors degree innursing
• Full Registration with Singapore Nursing Board with validPracticing Certificate
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) Certificate

REQUIREMENTS

• Passionate and patience in serving the seniors
• Required to attend to seniors who are mostlymandarin/dialect-speaking. Proficiency in mandarinand/or dialects is essential
• Humble willing to learn team player
• Self-driven willing to take on challenges
• Able to drive is an added advantage.
