As a Senior Engineer Technical Sourcing Engineering (TSE) Plastic youll help drive the technical strategy for plastics products and sourcing.

In this role you will:

• Lead alternate dual and resourcing initiatives with suppliers

• Manage Supplier Change Request (SCR) resolution to completion and First Article submission to approval

• Support product scale-up and capacity expansion

• Troubleshoot and resolve plastics-related quality issues

• Contribute to cost savings and productivity improvements

• Partner with cross-functional teams on New Product Introductions (NPI)

A Day in the Life

Youll work closely with teams across R&D Engineering Quality Procurement Regulatory Product Management and Operations.

Your work may span the full product lifecyclefrom early concept through end-of-life.

Youll engage with a range of manufacturing processes including:

• Injection molding blow molding thermoforming and extrusion

• Secondary processes such as pad printing plasma treatment and sterilization

Were looking for someone who enjoys solving problems collaborating across teams and working hands-on with plastics manufacturing and tooling.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelors degree in: Mechanical Engineering Plastics Engineering Materials Science or a related field.

Experience

• 8 years of experience in product design new product development tooling or manufacturing

Skills & Experience

Core Skills

• Experience addressing molding and processing challenges

• Familiarity with tooling design and plastics manufacturing processes

• Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks Creo or similar)

• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment

• Strong technical writing and documentation skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with sourcing or procurement

• Familiarity with SAP Agile or Oracle systems

• Experience in regulated industries (biotech pharmaceutical etc.)

• Exposure to secondary operations and sterilization processes

Additional Information

• Travel: Up to 15% (domestic and international)

• This position does not offer relocation benefits
