Senior Engineer, Software (Test)

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable hardware and software test solutions for manufacturing requirements.
• Maintain and enhance software systems to supportchanging production needs.
• Workwith Production Engineering and BUs to analyze product failuresandresolve software-related issues.
• Manage outsourced software development partners from concept to deployment and maintenancefor automated equipment.
• Perform system integration debugging and repeatability studies toimprove system performance androbustness.
• Collaborate with BUs toimprove product testing and continuous improvement approaches.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools to improve development productivity code quality and troubleshooting.
• Develop RPA and workflow automation solutions to streamline manual processes and improve efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation in test systems software workflows and improvement initiatives.

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in software engineering /information technology /computer science or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Test Engineering Test Development or equivalent working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in NI-LabVIEW NI-Test Stand Labview C# C and Python programming is required.
• Good Experience and knowledge in Industrial Automation.
• Experience using Codex or other AI platforms to support coding activities.
• Experience with or knowledge of RPA tools such as Microsoft Power Automate is an advantage.

Skills & Other Requirements

• Test and measurement instrumentation exposure and experience in software development for remote equipment control are required.
• Experience in SQL with advanced query design stored procedures views and functions.
• Understanding of Database Administration (e.g.: replication backup/restore strategies clustering log-shipping)
• Understanding of HTML and CSS programming.

• Project managementskills and experience working withoutsourced software developers are a plus.
