Job Summary

Drive the build in quality design stage by working with design team to incorporate all lesson learn and best practice.

Involvement of dedicate AQE in design stage to set and drive quality target from both design and manufacturing process aspect

Driving the project team for corrective/preventive action and closure of action items from all validation and proto build failure and observation to ensure the team meeting the set goal prior to SOP

Primarily responsible for working with cross functional teams on new product development or/and supports manufacturing/customer activities. Scope of Product Development would include customer requirements review design review verification and validation monitor results and drive risk ensuring product meets customer requirements and performance required. Scope of manufacturing/customer would include driving effective Corrective Action plan for Manufacturing/Customer Problem prevention/resolution to prevent reoccurrences.

Assures quality products and processes by establishing and enforcing quality standards testing materials controls thru trends analysis uses of tools and data. Drive continuous improvement and standardization of best practices in the organization supporting the organization Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

Develop implement and improve the department and product total quality system to assure product specification is met
Facilitate and work with team members on quality improvement to the product by providing technical guidance in QE tools applications
Perform quality system or process audit to assure quality systems are in place
Provide technical support in engineering design review drawing and specification review to drive risk mitigation ensuring product meets the established standards of quality including reliability usability and performance required
Establish & Implement manufacturing quality metrics and lead team on to achieve the goal and continuous improvement
Develop implement and improve product quality plan in connection with PFMEA and DFMEA
Driver for Quality System Audits provide support for external IATF 16949 and TISAX audits to ensure compliance with required standards
In charge of MRB activity of the raw material semi-finish good and finish products. Execute and coordinate nonconforming material disposition
Driving Root Cause analysis in problem diagnosis from customer anomaly/Line fallout to ensure problem prevention and resolution implementation ensuring effectiveness
Management of Change with suppliers/manufacturing team with proper review and communication to customer for approval to implementation
Meet department cost & quality objectives by identifying opportunities for improvement
Implement lessons learned across manufacturing and also new products development projects
Perform special projects to support continuous improvement on an ongoing basis thru functional standardization and implement process improvement ideas in primary work area.
To adhere to the Health & Safety regulations as set out by the EHS Department and any other Government regulations

Requirements

Degree in Engineering or Science
3 to 5 years of experience in a Quality/Engineering in Product Design Engineering/Manufacturing environment preferred
Analytical problem-solving skills and proficient oral and written communication/presentation skills
Basic print reading and interpretation of specification skills
Sound knowledge of FMEA Control Plan advanced statistical experience with quality tools usage and Product Design Development Cycle is preferred
Certified Design for Six Sigma/Six Sigma Black Belt/Reliability Engineer will have an added advantage
Familiar with Microsoft Office and Minitab Microsoft PowerBI C# MySQL MS Access and HTML is added advantage.
