Senior Electrical Engineer

The Opportunity

• Design development of Electrical Services (LV & ELV) in various stage of building and/or other projects including tender conceptual and detail design stages; contract documentation authority submissions contract administration attending site meetings.

• Providing design calculations drawings reports and specifications.

• Hands on electrical services design for a range of projects and able to operate as an electrical services designer role for medium and large-scale projects.

• To assist reviewing and preparation of general and specifications or project review contractors shop drawing and alternative design proposal.

• Liaise with other discipline designers to resolve design development.

• Supporting the firms compliance in maintaining ISO 9001 OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 requirement.

• Delivery of projects and ensure that technical deliverables are on-time and within budget

• Play an active role contributing to technical excellence in our Electrical Practice.

• Opportunity to develop further as a leader and as a subject matter specialist. Lead and mentor graduate/junior engineers.

About you:

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering and or related field.

• 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering/building services industry in a consulting firm essential.

• Experience with BIM (Revit) skills ETAP VipCoda ProDesign Dialux or a willingness to learn computer modelling techniques/tools e.g.

• Working towards professional or chartered engineering status.

• Understanding of local regulatory and code requirements.

• Motivated and enthusiastic with a growth mindset.

• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate complex issues and concepts clearly succinctly and with influence.

• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.

• A strong digital solutions drive with an interest and enthusiasm for sustainability.

• Commercially astute with good client facing acumen who is open to new ideas and innovation.
